Long-term care insurance (LTCi) pays for the cost of long-term health care - expenses usually not covered by health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. Whether you are elderly, in need of assistance at home or in a nursing facility, or are a young person disabled by an illness or accident, if you need help with the activities of daily living (ADL’s) such as eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, continence or transferring, LTCi can help pay your expenses at a specified daily or monthly benefit rate, for a predetermined period of time. |
